Our Story
BlueDocs was founded in 2020 when our founders, who had worked together at various tech companies, experienced firsthand the pain of scattered documentation and knowledge silos.
After spending countless hours searching for information across wikis, shared drives, chat tools, and email threads, they decided there had to be a better way. They envisioned a central platform where teams could create, organize, and share knowledge effortlessly.
Unlike many of our competitors, BlueDocs is proudly bootstrapped. We've turned down multiple venture capital offers because we believe in building a sustainable business that prioritizes customer needs over investor expectations. This independence allows us to focus on what matters most: creating a product our customers love.

Former engineering lead at GitLab and early engineer at Notion. David has built documentation platforms for over a decade and is dedicated to creating tools that make knowledge sharing intuitive and enjoyable.

Previously Head of Operations at Atlassian and Customer Success Director at Confluence. Michael is focused on making BlueDocs the most customer-centric documentation platform in the market.
